As our healthcare systems struggle to cope with increasing patient demands and longer lifespans now more than ever connected digital health systems and devices are essential in realizing a modern more efficient healthcare provision. Themarket for digital health was worth £23bn in 2014 and is expected to almost double to £43bn in 2018.

Many companies large and small have already entered the digital healthcare market, however the rewards are high and the pitfalls are many.
