York-based DOQEX has boosted its growth by expanding into Europe. From an office in the PSV Eindhoven Stadium and a Data Centre in Amsterdam DOQEX has recruited resellers and distribution partners who are using DOQEX technology to deliver secure email and data sharing across the Benelux countries.
DOQEX technology enables organisations to transfer electronic data securely. The platform is ideal for sharing or collaborating upon legal contracts, financial records, medical records, tax records, payroll and any electronic asset that holds value for an organisation or individual.
It partnered with Evolve Services business development agency based in Holland to bring about the European expansion.
Before creating the European channel, DOQEX benefited from the Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) programme delivered by RTC North in the North of England.
Enterprise Europe Network is the world’s largest business network. At the heart of the service are over 600 companies like RTC working with clients to find and connect partners to bring about commercial deals, share technology and new ideas or develop research partnerships.
Gail Leathley, Leeds-based RTC EEN adviser, said: “It’s fantastic that such important growth and partnerships have come about following DOQEX’s participation in the EEN programme with RTC. Through the EEN programme, we can help ambitious SMEs grow globally. These can turn innovative ideas into international commercial successes – and DOQEX has hit the ground running with their first partnership projects already underway.”
Nick Case, Director of DOQEX, said: “RTC’s EEN programme was really valuable in helping us recruit our first partner who helped us with the important task of bringing the benefits of the DOQEX data and email security product to organisations in the Benelux countries.
“Our partner’s expertise is crucial to us as we build our channel of trusted resellers. Together we will help Benelux companies collaborate whilst working safely and productively.”
Sander van den Nieuwenhuijzen, Managing Partner of Evolve Services said: “We see a huge potential for the DOQEX platform, because its solution offers simplicity, manageability and reliability. Alternative solutions do not offer such comprehensive branding and management flexibility.
“This immediate interest illustrates the potential of the DOQEX platform to become the standard in secure file and e-mail transfers. We are looking forward to help organisations all over Europe and introduce this new way of secure communication.”
DOQEX was founded in 2013. Operating from York it is active in sectors such as government, healthcare, legal and finance. Users include the City of York, Benenden Healthcare, Tour de France and The Civil Service.
