RTC North run the Innovation in Supply Chain Programme in West Yorkshire. On September 18th this year, RTC North are excited to be hosting the first Supply Chain Showcase in conjunction with WYCA and the Mayoral Office.

This is the first of a suite of events designed to connect local businesses with opportunities in large businesses. The focus of this initial event will explore the opportunities in advanced manufacturing, energy, digital, travel and infrastructure. Further events will focus on construction, creative/digital, food and drink, along with other significant sectors in West Yorkshire. Attracting businesses eager to raise awareness and showcase their capabilities, this event will generate significant opportunities for local businesses.

An impressive network of speakers from large and innovative enterprises have been sourced and secured. These leading companies include, Adderstone Living (construction industry), Equinor (Energy), LHYFE (Hydrogen production), CERN (Nuclear Research) and Railway Industry Association (Rail Industry).

One of the standout features of this event is the chance for West Yorkshire SMEs to engage in one-on-one appointments with leading businesses. This appointment-based setting offers an opportunity for SMEs to forge valuable connections, gain insights, and explore potential collaborations that can drive their business.

In addition, this exhibition will host 10 business support groups, each offering specialised assistance in various areas crucial to the growth and development of SMEs in the region. These groups are set to provide the support needed to overcome challenges and seize opportunities.

There will be a series of informative sessions that delve into critical topics such as zero carbon initiatives and sustainability practices. Attendees will also benefit from hearing success stories from fellow West Yorkshire SMEs. These inspirational accounts will shed light on their business journeys, offering valuable lessons and a source of motivation.
