Cyber Essentials Plus Recertification Raising the Bar in 25
20th Jun 2025
RTC North has once again achieved Cyber Essentials Plus recertification for the fourth consecutive year — a clear reflection of our continued commitment to cybersecurity and the protection of client data.
This year’s recertification came with more stringent assessment criteria, in line with the increasing complexity of cyber threats across all sectors. Despite the tougher standards, our team rose to the challenge, demonstrating our dedication to best-in-class security practices.
“Achieving Cyber Essentials Plus again, particularly under more rigorous conditions, is something we’re incredibly proud of,” said Michael Ball, Head of IT.
“It reflects not only our technical capability but also our culture of continuous improvement and accountability. Cybersecurity isn’t just a checklist for us; it’s embedded in how we operate every day. The evolving threat landscape means we must stay proactive, not reactive, and this certification shows that we’re doing exactly that. It gives our clients and partners real confidence that we take their data seriously and are committed to protecting it at the highest level.”
Cyber Essentials Plus is a government-backed, industry-recognised certification that involves a hands-on technical audit of our systems. It confirms that we have the right controls in place to defend against common cyber threats, offering assurance to our clients, partners, and stakeholders that their data and digital infrastructure are in safe hands.
In an environment of rising security expectations, staying ahead is not just important, it’s essential. This achievement underscores RTC North’s ongoing investment in cyber resilience and our commitment to the highest standards across everything we do.
