Jaymac Solutions Wrap up Another Successful Year

Jaymac Solutions sought out ScaleUp North East for expert guidance during their recent phase of rapid growth. With support delivered by experienced partners who have successfully scaled multiple businesses, the assistance was tailored to meet the business owners’ unique needs.

Established in 1997, the family run business was originally set up to supply and recondition wooden pallets. After securing £2.15 million in funding in late 2023, Jaymac Solutions now operates from 4 sites across the region and has expanded its range of services to include storage, transport, exporting, pallet services, and packaging solutions. This expansion has led to exceptional growth and the securing of a long-term contract with a major international supermarket.

External support and perspective have been crucial for Managing Director, Wes Thompson, providing him the opportunity to discuss strategy and growth plans with someone experienced in similar scenarios. This collaboration enabled the business to leverage insights aimed at maximising opportunities whilst avoiding potential pitfalls and anticipating pain points.
