Rob Stobie is taking part in this year's Great North Run and looking for supporters to help him reach his target of fundraising for Grace House.

Rob said: "Grace House is a fantastic charity that helps to enrich the lives of disabled children, young people, and their families across our region.

 "I love running but I’m not a fan of long distances at all, which will make running 13 miles a real challenge for me. Training for longer-distance events takes a lot of commitment and time which can be difficult to balance around being a dad too. I ran a half marathon once before in Lincoln and got a time of 1hr 43mins, afterwards I said I would never do it again. The draw of raising money for such a worthy cause and challenging myself to do something I find difficult and uncomfortable was just too much, so here I am again putting myself where it hurts and hoping to beat the time I set as a younger, fitter version of myself."
