RTC North to Support Future Talent at Liverpool Awards

07th May 2026
RTC North has confirmed its continued support for the Liverpool Chamber awards, returning as a sponsor for 2026 as the programme evolves into the newly launched Liverpool Innovation & Impact Awards.
The refreshed awards, which build on the legacy of the Innovation in Business Awards, will celebrate the individuals and organisations driving both economic growth and positive social impact across the Liverpool City Region.
This year, RTC North will sponsor the Talent Trailblazer Award, recognising individuals who are making a meaningful contribution to developing skills, nurturing talent and supporting the future workforce across the region.
The awards ceremony will take place on 22 October 2026 at Everton FC’s new Hill Dickinson Stadium, bringing together businesses, innovators and emerging leaders from across the city region.
RTC North’s continued involvement reflects its long-standing commitment to supporting innovation, skills development and business growth across the North. As a Certified B Corporation, the organisation places a strong emphasis on creating positive impact through its work, supporting businesses and individuals to grow in a way that benefits both the economy and wider society.
The Talent Trailblazer category aligns closely with this approach, recognising those who are not only achieving success within their own fields, but actively contributing to the development of others and strengthening the region’s talent pipeline.
“We’re delighted to be supporting the Liverpool Chamber awards once again, particularly as they evolve to reflect the changing needs and ambitions of businesses across the city region.” Angela Smith, North West Regional Development Manager at RTC North commented.
“The Talent Trailblazer Award is an opportunity to recognise individuals who are investing in people, developing skills and helping to shape the future workforce. That focus on talent and long-term impact is something that strongly aligns with our work across the North.”
“These awards continue to highlight the strength, diversity and ambition of the Liverpool City Region, and we would encourage organisations and individuals to put themselves forward and be part of that.”
Businesses and individuals from across the Liverpool City Region are encouraged to explore the full range of categories and submit nominations, showcasing the work taking place across innovation, growth and impact.
