Leaving his native North-East in the Mid 80’s to move to Frankfurt then Munich, Mark worked as a programmer at the European and German National Space programmes for 10 years on numerous satellite projects as well as Space Shuttle Missions and the International Space Station Columbus. He received a NASA achievement award for his work on the ROSAT X-Ray telescope mission. Marks specialities include digital and commercial strategy, internationalisation, growth, sales and marketing, product development and positioning.

Mark joins Scaleup Partners; Craig Huntingdon, Tony Brooks, Angelina Bell, and Jon Symonds. Together they bring more than 100 years of industry experience; founding, leading, scaling, and selling businesses across several sectors and through The Scale Up North East programme, they provide all the necessary financial, operational, HR, leadership, commercial, international, and digital support needed to meet business objectives.
