About this event
Programme for the day is as follows
10:00am - 10:45am 'Garageband' (Suitable for Year 2/3 pupils)

11:00am - 11:45am 'Sonic Pi' (Suitable for Year 5/6 pupils)
Come and code your own piece of music using the text based programming language Ruby.
1:00pm - 1:45pm 'Audacity' (Suitable for Key Stage 3 pupils)

2:00pm - 2:45pm 'Using JES to manipulate sounds' (Suitable for Key Stage 4 pupils)
Once you understand that sounds are stored on computers as numbers, it is easy to manipulate them with Python programming #SoundEffects
3:00pm - 3:45pm Computing in the music industry (Suitable for KS3+)
Join a local Sound Engineer as they explain how they use computing in their every day life
THERE WILL BE A SEPARATE CPD INFORMATION SESSION FROM 4PM-5PM ON MONDAY 14TH JUNE SO ALL PARTICIPANTS CAN MAKE THE MOST OUT OF THE DAY.
