This July marks a significant milestone for RTC North as we celebrate 10 years of being based at the Sci-Tech Daresbury campus, a decade shaped by innovation, collaboration, and community.

Since joining the campus in 2014, RTC North has proudly supported hundreds of businesses across the North West, working closely with some of the most forward-thinking and high-growth companies in the region. Our move to Daresbury was a natural extension of our long-standing commitment to driving innovation and enterprise in the North West, a region we have supported for nearly two decades.

To celebrate this landmark occasion, we were joined by members of our North West team, campus companies, and colleagues from across the site on Wednesday 16th July for a special summer event. Hosted in partnership with the Sci-Tech Daresbury team, this year’s Prosecco in the Park included celebratory RTC North cupcakes, a toast to the past decade, and plenty of time to reflect on the successes we have shared as part of this thriving innovation community.

Jamie Ollivere, Chief Executive at RTC North, joined the celebration, commenting “We’re so proud to be a part of the community here, and that’s what it is, a real community.”

Jamie went on to thank the Sci-Tech Daresbury team and shared a few words about our time and achievements on site, highlighting the value we place on our place here and our excitement to be renewing our Gold Partner Membership for another year, building on a decade of shared success. From hosting events to offering hands-on support for ambitious companies, our presence at Daresbury continues to play a key role in our mission to champion innovation across the North West.
