23rd Sep 2025

With just 2 weeks to go, we’re thrilled to announce that Cummins will serve as the headline supporter of this year’s event in Newcastle this October.

STEMFest, coordinated by the STEM Hub, delivered by RTC North, will feature an unforgettable, hands-on exhibition led by industry experts. Around 60 local companies will come together to highlight the breadth of career opportunities in the STEM sector across the region. The groups attending from Primary and Secondary Schools can expect fun, interactive sessions that bring science, technology, engineering and math to life, offering real world insights into the diverse career paths available.

As a global leader in power technology, Cummins designs, manufactures, distributes, and services a broad portfolio of power solutions. Driven by innovation, they’re on a never-ending mission to discover new and better ways to keep the world running.

Jonathan Wood, Vice President and Chief Technical Officer at Cummins comments:

“We’re excited to be supporting STEMFest once again as headline supporter. It’s such an important event for the region, giving young people the chance to see the possibilities that STEM can open up for their future.
