Supply Chain North East Exchange has just welcomed its 100th member after launching just last year.

The exchange was developed to create a community platform for businesses engaged with the Supply Chain North East support programme to enable inter-trading opportunities between member businesses.

At the start of the pandemic last year the exchange became a vital platform for businesses diversifying in response to COVID-19. From companies sourcing new suppliers, identifying new business partners winning new customer orders, securing grant funding and signing posting the exchange now has 100 members and just under 20 opportunities from innovative COVID-19 services, PPE, local needs of businesses and workplace safety and protection products Programme Manager, Alan Whitaker explains more:

“The Supply Chain Exchange is a vital portal for businesses within the North East to reach out and start new conversations, I am pleased to welcome our 100th member and look forward to it growing even further.

“As businesses emerge from the pandemic, we realise that our exchange will play a big part in businesses expanding their reach and growth. This is why we are also hosting a huge event Showcase North East in July.

“At the Showcase event businesses will get the chance to hear from top industry leaders, find out about local sector opportunities, the chance to network and collaborate with local business owners. As well as understanding more how the Exchange can work for your business.”
